An open letter

A little note from the house.

I am not a pup myself, but I have had the joy of watching what this community can do for people. Over the years, I have seen pup play build confidence, friendships, relationships, and a real sense of belonging for people I care about.

To me, being a pup is not about pretending to be someone else. It is about finding the courage to be more fully yourself. It is play, yes, but it is also trust, expression, confidence, and learning what feels true.

One of the biggest things that can stand in the way is the cost of a hood. That first hood can be the piece that makes someone feel ready to show up, try something new, and step into community.

So we thought: why not make that first step a little easier? House of Marfs is our way of opening the door, sharing what we can, and seeing how many pups we can give a chance to try.
